To help guide Hschooler.net's development, we have established a board of advisors made up of Christians with diverse and valuable perspectives for accomplishing our mission

Rick Boxx, President and Founder of Integrity Resource Center

Rick is an internationally recognized author, speaker, management consultant, CPA, former bank executive, and entrepreneur.

Rick has authored "How To Prosper in Business... Without Sacrificing Integrity," his latest 10 week small group study called "Work That Matters," and  authors a daily broadcast email called Integrity Moments which reaches and impacts in excess of 1,000,000 leaders around the world. He has also been featured on nationally syndicated radio programs such as "Moody's Mid-Day Connection," "Life Perspectives," and Crown Financial Ministries "Money Matters." In addition to teaching Crown Ministries, "Business by the Book" workshop, Rick has spoken to numerous men's ministry groups, churches, rotary clubs, and many other Christian and business organizations. Some of his most requested talks include:

In addition to Rick's Integrity Resource Center roles he currently serves on the board of the City Wide Prayer Movement, is a founding director of Horizon Academy, a school for learning disabilities, and is an instructor for Crown Financial Ministries. Rick has given biblically based counsel to thousands of business owners.

He and his lovely wife, Kathy, are lifelong residents of the Kansas City area and have three awesome children: Megan, Jeremy, and Rebekah. Rick is a member of Christ Community Evangelical Free Church.

Rev. Jon Dunning, Associate Pastor of Youth and Family Ministries, Oak Hills Presbyterian Church

Pastor Jon grew up in the small town of Neenah, Wisconsin, learning how to play the drums, shoveling snow, and rooting for the Green Bay Packers. He was raised in a faithful Christian home where Jesus is loved and His word is trusted, and he has been involved in church since before he can remember. While studying mathematics and secondary education at Miami University (Ohio) and through his involvement with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship, he began to sense God's call on his life to vocational ministry. Jon attended Covenant Seminary (M.Div) in St. Louis and fell in love with Tricia who built military aircraft for a living and sang in the church choir. They were married in December 1999 and now have two awesome children - Lucy and Jack. Jon is daily amazed by the grace and patience of his family, and he loves being a dad more than he ever thought possible.

Pastor Jon came to Oak Hills in the fall of 2003 to serve the young people of Oak Hills and their families. He can't believe that he gets paid to study God's word, hang out with people, and talk about Jesus. As often as he can, Jon listens to music, though as often as not you may find him listening to a sermon or a lecture. He also enjoys reading, watching movies, throwing a Frisbee, and following college and professional football.

Dan Jacobson Senior Portfolio Manager, Sprint Nextel Inc.

Dan Jacobson is Senior Portfolio Manager for Converged Voice Services at Sprint Nextel. He leads a dynamic team of individuals responsible for the product strategy, development and life cycle management of integrated wireline and wireless services. Dan has over 20 years of industry experience across a diverse set of disciplines including product development, network, information technology, business development, operations, marketing, regulatory and customer service.

Dan has also supported his wife in homeschooling their children over the past ten years. He enjoys incorporating technology into their school curriculum, so he's excited to be advising Hschooler.net.

Dan received his Masters in Business Administration from Baker University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with a minor in Mathematics from University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

Dan is a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church.

Donna McGuire, Homeschooling Mother

Donna McGuire has been homeschooling her 8th grade son since preschool. Prior to his birth, Donna spent 12+ years teaching in public schools. She holds Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Education from Oklahoma State University.
